Don’t you think that Ren and the agency are increasingly looking like true villains of this story? Gods of thunder are just adversaries, tough and cunning, but they don’t give off that vibe of evil. On the other hand, Ren’s evil vibe is so strong that it could be measured in Richter scale, and in the 8s or worse.

While I’m hopeful that all of this will turn out well, I’m also pissed at Yuuki. He could have made that announcement in a more covert way, to a select audience, instead of spilling the beans to friends and foes alike. Dumb move that could have costed him and Kyouka dearly if not for Mira. Actually it still can cost them. You don`t do such bold moves against a deadly venomous, lightning fast snake Ren Yamashiro is, both in battlefield and in politics.
tl;dr: bold moves tend to have unforeseen consequences, especially if not thought through.
