I’m sensing this could be a tied vote — with Ren and Kyouka eventually having to duke it out to decide the victor.
Just a hunch — I could be wrong, but I just think that when someone is as arrogant as Yamashiro has consistently proven herself to be, it’s likely that her pride will be rewarded with a stunning defeat — because the Japanese do not appreciate the pairing of such flagrant and wanton hubris when it comes to positions of high-power; just look at what it has cost them within their own history.
Kyouka isn’t just the protagonist for no reason, she has authority in a realistic fashion, appealing to her comrades with genuine integrity and leadership from the front, not from on a high horse as is Ren’s unflattering and repulsive custom.
I’m rooting for Uzen and the 7th unit all the way — and am super grateful to Takahiro and Takemura for the bright spot this manga has become in my life recently, during a much needed period of personal difficulty.

I believe Ren is going to win by 1 vote anyway. Otherwise it would not get tense enough for the plot and too many problems would resolve easily

damn konomi was one of best girls with that leg lock but she fucked up. Even betraying her anedeshi by being swayed over an ability no one else has seen. Weakest will and worst voter mindset to have. She get swayed over the dumbest shit
