MC is half right imo, here are some points to consider:
1. Him setting up traps is not malicious – The people who enter the realm enter it aware of the dangers and choose to do so to gain what they desire.
2. “To me it’s an opportunity.” Think about what end MC is going to use that for. Yeah, not so “good” now.
3. Although the Demonic and Righteous path both stand on mountains of corpses, you cannot deny that the inherent nature of the “Righteous” path is more humane, although not guaranteed.
4. All who walk the path of cultivation shall be prepared to be in danger. That is a stance against demonic cultivators. Why? It’s not to say that every cultivator should die, but that although behind a successfully cultivator there are mountains of cultivators, but behind every demonic practitioner, there are both innocents and cultivators alike.
