What counts as a “Daoist heart”? Like when someone says you have a heart of stone your heart isn’t actually stone its just that you don’t feel most emotions, so what defines a Daoist heart?

I low-key do hope our MC gains some genuine emotional connections to some of these goofy ah female, still very much evil, but with a lil sum extra.(Mainly the wife and sister if that wasn’t obvious)
and the plan becomes clearer
