From the ‘flashbacks of Drako and Strang, it would appear that Strang was a female in human form… or are we just going to spend twenty chapters playing guessing games…?
A lot of lore dump there, Drakas didn’t die after gaining too much power he died in the trial of ‘The 7 Thrones’, which may be the gateway to becoming god in this world. Or 7 entities are just higher beings wanting others to not ascend to their level, so they couldn’t cause a threat. Probably the backlash of his fight with them caused the destruction of the world.
The player artifact is strange, most likely a dead/sealed/forgotten god making someone the prime vessel for their reincarnation. Drakas may have been the first to use the Artifact but he wasn’t the person who created it.
Also how old is this world? Like a couple thousand years old? Drakas was there 500 years ago, the dragons were the origin of magic and they have now faded into myths so they’re probably all dead/hidden/sealed. So that makes it like maybe 2500 years old or something with humanity having been there for at least the last 500 years.
