Ok, so for now at least, the bad guy is the brother, bcuz he’s biased and whatever.
The real question tho is how tf they got back to shore. I think they broke only 1 paddle, which is fine. Usually you bring 2 oars to use and then 1 or 2 extra oars as replacements, so it isn’t absurd they’d be able to get back quickly. However, their return journey was also offscreen so there’s no proof they actually had spares (I didn’t see any shown either), so I call bs.
