You literally told us they come in groups, and how did they get the drop on you when you have two or three skills that could reveal them?
He is a dumbss, he’s a dumbass!
don’t like how they handle the skills because now they’ll just pull random stuff out the bag and say “he has a skill for that”
Re:monster handled it a lot better. Chances of skill being acquired we’re based on how many he ate and the level difference; higher monsters having a better chance of transference while abusing low leveled monsters with redundant skills by farming went unrewarded. similar skills could be grouped together and evolved keeping the best traits of the lot and even sometimes producing unique skills, preventing skill list from becoming cluttered and unmanageable.
right now, this MC is falling into a trap that can sink the quality of the comic.
(there are others that also handled it well but can’t recall names at the moment)

First of why did it take less than a couple hours for mc to go back ,when he clearly fell at least 5 floors and blacked out.
It should have taken days ,
second which idiot wouldnt check his skills.
third the 180° character change again.
He doesn’t have asword skill, but he does have an axe skill but instead uses a sword if he had the axe he could’ve killed him
