?… this MC is kinda…. dumb? No not exactly that. Its more that he has an air of competency but he has no idea how fast the fist king is gonna be. And he is really struggling in this fight. If the demonic person had just broke his neck or something like that he would be dead already. He has been grappled already and had full control to kill. Seems rather reckless to me and too trusting in plot armor.

Why did he drop the kid with the priest amd stay and fight himselfm
He could have just ran past the priest and left him to fight and give him some time..

i was hoping he was the madman and did that to attract attention of fist king playing the “villain” while studying under the fist king but instead that madman is a nobody -.-
