i think big guy turns time back subconsciously whenever mc wants to kill someone in order to keep up his image of being a hero that saved his life. if that is correct then the only way for mc to kill people while also ending the timeloop would be to kill him by accident i.e. while he is testing out the upper limit of his ability big guy comes by and accidentally gets crushed to death
