Tang Clan probably has the most variations among all Murim factions in ManHwas I’ve read. They can range from being almost villainous, morally gray, or righteous; hot-tempered or calm; sadistic or humane; feared by everyone, looked down upon, or highly respected (especially when they are portrayed as the best in medicine). It seems like the only consistent traits are that they use hidden weapons and poisons. Everything else depends on the author’s imagination.

Tang Clan is always misunderstood in these Moorim manhua. They’re either straight up baddies or misunderstood folks who are more loyal and ride or die than the other clans.
Dark heaven with their magic ( similar to modern world of mc ) probably had more cards to throw at tang clan.
