To be honest I like goffy ahh MC’s like goku, Asta, Naruto ,luffy, ichigo, like they are goffy but have one of the best battles IQ like look at Goku he literally has the battle IQ of all times the other guys too 
I think it’s possible that this, old man that assisted him in his qi Cultivation technique might be the martial arts. God that’s mentioned later on. This might be the first glimpse of him.

I get not wanting to attempt the quest since death is an option. But declining on the helper is kinda suicide, isnt it?
I remember reading this pretty far and dropping because MC is literally one of the absolute dumbest MCs to ever exist. I will just power through and focus on everything except the MC.
