Makes sense.. Even tho he got the edgy-mode by the end, for a Japanese manga, there was still a distinct lack of pets turning into lolis and other isekai manga tropes.. If the author wrote “reincarnated as a washing machine” where the MC reincarnates as a powerful washing machine and gets accepted into an all-girl party to wash their clothes in a dungeon with a bunch of fanservice of girls taking off their clothes so that he can wash and strengthen them using the “washing god system™”, he would have a smash hit.. Instead, he chose to write a good story and that’s why it got dropped…
Thus an open ending… Some may make up there own stories or continuations. Maybe someday it may continue but i still enjoyed the ride with all of you.

So it really was axed. Well, we saw that coming, but it was still a good story. 
damn they really wrote lore for the discontinuation of the lore, that’s kinda metal
