Actually, it would be more interesting if Asahi kept mum about what happened between her and Medaka for a couple chapters: it would cause Mona much more anxiety and feeling of potential loss, hopefully speeding up her process of maturing. But with that the series would turn towards more serious drama, and we don’t want that, right? So in the end I’m okay with Asahi filling Mona in, honestly she’s earned some points for being classy. A worthy opponent, and Medaka’s feelings aside, she’s on top now!
I like that none of the characters here is over the top – they all have their quirks and limitations, but they don’t act in an unreasonable way: basically any scene could be inserted in the real world without standing out (much).
Anyway, Mona, kiddo, you have lots of catching up, both in your relationship with Medaka and personal development. Stop treating like a game something that your opponents see as an all out war.
