Frankly, I thought from the beginning that the whole precepts thing was overblown, probably some kind of exaggeration or misunderstanding on Medaka’s part, maybe some customary thing that families running temples marry between themselves so no hanky panky with outsiders – I mean, there had to be some sexy times in order to make Medaka, right?
Besides that, finally a change of pace: the last half a dozen chapters were awkward and didn’t progress the story much if at all. Hopefully things are going to get stirred up a bit.
Nice introduction of Medaka’s dad, I sense a strong contender for the title of the coolest father-in-law (Horimiya’s Kyousuke being the other one). Would be nice if he knocked some sense in that monk(ey) brain of his son.
