My Daughter is a Dragon! - Chapter 17
Comments for chapter "Chapter 17"
To everyone freaking out about the equation being wrong:
When have you ever seen a TL get the numbers 100% correct?
TL + Numbers = Fail.
Chill out lol.
Wow that is so wrong on so many different levels. If x=3 and x=5, then the quadratic should be (x-3)(x-5)=0, which would be x^2 – 8x + 15. If x= -3 and x= -5, then the quadratic is (x+3)(x+5)=0, which would be x^2 + 8x + 15. Whichever it is, the 5 in x^2 + 8x + 5 is DEFINITELY wrong.
hot take whne solving for X it should only be ONE number
have it X and Y if you need 2 numbers that are not the same
Quadratics are wrong. x^2 + 8x + 5
m = 1
n = 5
possible combinations 1 and 5
so it should be something like (x + 1)(x + 5) = 0
therefore x = -1 and -5
BUT this equation doesn’t equal to that 8x at the b position
it equals to x^2 + 6x + 5
This means you need to bust out the quadratic formula that Im not doing it because Im too lazy. Also, it might be wrong because I forgot how to do quadratic with only factoring because I’m cramming for physics and chemistry exams
Man I ain’t had to look at quadratic equations since high school–
the math is wrong. For her answer is would be (x+5) (x+3) and the original equation would be x^2 + 8x + 15.
I remember when my mom took me to do an “IQ” test. Turned out to be the entrance exam for a magnet school. I didn’t even get to say goodbye to my friends…
Well…Chaerin wasn’t already at a school, so maybe now she can attend with her dad, lolol~
Im sorry but thats not the forrect answer for that quadratic, you would have to do the wuadratic formula for that one. (X+3)(x+5) would be f(x)=x^2+8x+15
Sorry girl, but this is clearly not the way to solve quadratic equations…

I tried the number with middle term splitting and using formula anser wasn’t -3 and -5 it was -4 +√11 and +4 +√11
