I’m not the one to say it, but what bad parents they are both. Although the MC can be forgiven for having just met her daughter, but her mother was with her for 8 years, long enough to educate her the right way.
But BRUH “Take responsibility for what you did” I wonder if she has at least taught her things in depth and not just told her “be careful how you use your power” all the time….
I guess not, I don’t know how things work in the world of dragons, but telling your 8 year old daughter to own up to what she did, even though the error occurred because most likely you didn’t taught her right is the worst thing you can do as a parent. And even so, no matter how well she educated her, it is still the responsibility of the parent.
I hope the excuse her mom brings up at the end is worth it, but I still doubt it. There is no excuse for being a bad parent.

1. Leaves her bf behind w/o a word.
2. Doesn’t let him know he has a daughter until she drops the girl off at his place w/ no explanation.
3. Clearly spoiled her daughter rotten.
4. Decides to let the SMOL CHILD experience the consequences of her own actions…in a way that will cause TONS of destruction and might cost some people their LIVES.

If an EF5 tornado hit California for real thousands will probably die (unless the evacuation is really really effective) and probably billions in damages. Wonder how she will handle this one
