Wouldn’t enough blunt force trauma to the head cause amnesia? Why waste a fancy dungeon drop when a heavy object could do the trick as well?
And before anyone says there is not a guarantee that he would lose his memory or at the very least regain it, lobotomizing him would be fairy easy to do. After all parts of the human brain start to die when they don’t get enough oxygen. So just holding down on a vein for a bit and then letting go for a second and then repeating would quickly starve the brain.
Alternatively, hitting the base of his skull enough times would cause severe trauma regardless.
but yeah, the amnesia stone is probably a safer option… doesn’t mean I’m happy about it.

I had a feeling he’d use the amnesia thing he got from the dungeon on this dude the moment he described how it works. It’s good that it was so effective, though I’d rather just be rid of him. Just because he lost his memory doesn’t mean he won’t wind up coming back later to investigate when something else happens.
