This is just speculation, but I’m thinking of two possibilities:
- That’s how the world used to be in the past, and Seol-ah could be a reincarnation of erzeberetacosandburritos.
- That world is in another dimension and it’s where monsters and dungeons come from.
I think the first one is more likely, and knights from the magic tower are the descendants of these knights who were once able to use aura.
