But she’s right… he’s the man she saw ‘kidnap’ her sister, leaving her traumatised as a little girl and probably believing that her sister had been murdered. On a stupid childish whim, her sister staged her own kidnapping without a second thought on how it would affect anyone else. It would have been bad enough if she had just disappeared, but her little sister actually saw her being taken, but she never thought to explain to her, even try contact her later on. Of all the people she could have used to re-enforce her fantasy, she ‘allowed’ it to be her little sister. She was a selfish idiot… and the mc was a brainless moron for going along with it.
