This is clearly one of those things that from a friendly Western culture I just can’t get. I was holding hands with girls from my first girlfriend in sixth grade (and, um, kissing). As for using a first/personal name…yeah, that does not translate to a Westerner. So, a cute chapter but, really weird to me given even my Gen Z kids were passing up Mari-Gojo in junior high.
