I love this story (the anime is one of my all-time favorites) but it seems stuck in neutral. We already knew that Gojo was a perfectionist, and they have done an even better job of showing his stuck in the cycle. But what works well in a light novel doesnt work quite as well in an ongoing 2x or monthly manga. Nothing happens for months but a intensifying of Gojo’s issues. The audience loves to see more of Marin being Marin, and their cute interactions as the two least alike people around. Its a reader’s critique, and I certainly don’t want the job of the creator of this story. But something worries me that we will be at our Christmas season and the costume still wont be perfect, they still won’t be actually talking to each other and the romance will be deader than her diet. Still…love the story.
There’s so much freaking build up. I wanna see the event, I wanna see the confession and I wanna see the costume finished. I know I won’t be disappointed,but I’m still crossing my fingers.
So I just binged the anime, made an account on here and binged this manga in one day. Funny and well drawn but seriously, do you have to put the cliffhangers in every chapter m8?! -_- lmao xdd I’d pay to have this release two chapters per month (but then again, I’ve tried drawing myself and it was a similar feeling to hearing Gojo draws 300 dolls a day so…)

I feel like this chapter was to short, but was still a great read!
The writing in this chapter is so good — the timing, the emotions, and the little character moments are all perfect. Marin in her angry/jealous state is dangerously cute, my heart can’t handle it 😭 She’s so expressive and real. And Gojo… bro is way too hot in this chapter, I’m not okay. I want him so bad.
This whole arc keeps getting better. The way their relationship is developing feels so natural and rewarding. Easily one of my favorite chapters recently
