For those wondering:
Daigo’s Swords
Daigo’s twin swords are mythical-class weapons known as the Elemental Blades. They operate by channeling elementals but they don’t merely summon existing ones; they forge entirely new elementals. Sometimes, they even create entities that shouldn’t exist in this world at all.
For example, Daigo’s swords can create elementals capable of killing opponents on sight, granting eternal youth, or bestowing unbeatable luck. The Elemental Blades can forge elementals with any property the wielder can imagine.
This is why Fenfir’s attack couldn’t reach Daigo.
Spoiler
Later, Light and Nazuna will join the fight. However, their attacks won’t reach Daigo either until Miki defects to Light’s team and reveals the true nature of the swords, allowing Light to counter them with his magic cards.

For the first time in everything, it looks like Team Abyss (now Fenrir) now having issues with an enemy since the Mystical Class Snake Weapon thing at the mid-part of Forbidden Blacksmith Arc and all of the tunes speaks the egos of one arrogant idiot who never learn any lesson from his defeat.
Also, people should REALLY less focus onto his weapons and more about his Gifts that made both him AND his signature weapons dangerous. Then again, however, Daigo should seriously need to tone down his monologue and ACTUALLY raise level by finishing off the Fenrir because, let’s face it. Daigo’s own ego here will definitely going to play a part of his own downfall and that is him learning a hard lesson about him has biting off more he can chew
