We’re now basically set foot onto the Oni Island and, if I must say something, it is actually a decent nation despite having very lackluster features about them, aside from the infamous Oni God thing that makes even Yotsuha feel uncomfortable. Seems to me that we rarely see even the peasants in the harbor of the island though.

Speaking of Yotsuha? While Light seems to be feel appreciated about leaving the island because of the Oni God thing , she SHOULD less concern about the stranger but more about herself because the one who is awaiting her homecoming right now. Yes, I am talking about Oboro who will be one of those manipulative idiots who will going to use this stupid superstitions about the Oni God as their justification for his own evil plan….and Yotsuha unfortunately haven’t even know it yet

As I said from the last chapter, Yotsuha’s care for her younger sister is the ONLY reason why Light is trying his best to tolerate her quips-specifically the ones about “not understanding despair” that really pressing his own button due to his own experience about his own 2 tragedies that we all familiar with; not to mention her own gloomy expression, clearly indicates that something is far more darker and tragic about her. I mean, she cannot act like Dagan who can switch roles with a game of rock-papers-scissors, nor ironically like Lilith who at least able to plot her own plan without knowledge of Nono and even Claw and her deadbeat father of the cowardly king, all because her own retainers are holding more political power than she herself and there is VERY likely that they are either doing or have done something VERY illegal behind her knowledge.

Also, yeah. Nemumu will give her own thumbs-down evaluation about the Onis for all the stuff she and her “party” been through. Can’t blame her frustrations though….
