I dunno why do some people disliked my own commentary but I can only assume some folks didn’t pay attention to details.
I also have long predicted the Kamijou and their evil the moment they are introduced in this arc’s Act 1 Chapters (Chap 178-180), as well as reading the LN (Vol. 8 amd it is an original arc) before this arc adapted into the manga chapters. The Soul Dragon Arc that once featured Sionne/ Shion Like, for real. Has nobody ask about the Kamijous at all? Without the Kamijous and their carelessness, Team Abyss may probably never going to investigate the Oni Island and Yotsuha may already become the final key for Mitsuhiko’s world domination for the Oni God by now.
Lemme explain,
Chaos has an idelology about “the strong should protect the weak”, which is his version of “With geat powers, comes great responsibility”-something the villains refuse to abide by until . For those who keep failing to understand what I have said, here is a “just-right” version of recap,
- It all started in the Beastmen Massacre Arc where both Chaos and Orca witnessed how malicious the Beastman Army, aka the Pet Shop Army, were for forcing Human Slaves unit to do their dirty work. The “2 Alphas” , both Mr. Beagle (Gam) and Phat Cat (Lebard) are the worst of this rotten pack and World-is-Walled scenes only explored how vile these furballs truly arefurther adding his disgust to
- A double reminder that Chaos lost to Light in thr first duel, so it is 0-1, marked that as Light’s 10-0. His victory over the Blood Slime Monster (along with both Gam and Lebard) feat Light marked the Grim-Reaper’s 1-1. , whereas Light being 11-0
- Then, in the Demon Kingdom’s Masters/Two Intrusive Masters Arc (Arc 8 for WN whereas Arc9 for both LN and Manga), Chaos trained Lilith (who use her alter-ego Liliana) and he was so intrigued by the princess’ selfless heroism for her people that he tried to at least wish that there has to some good souls that are untainted by the Surface World’s wickedness….until he meet these gang of losers in this chapter (and in current arc).
Yes, the current (or should I say soon-to-ending) arc where he confronting the escaping Kamijous. Chapter 180 was where Sogen was supposedly humbled by “Dark” but here? They learn absolutely nothing even after 11 Chapters later! Instead , they doubling down their attitude even more until Chaos had enough of them. Any wonder why Chaos doesn’t use 1% of his power to KO these douches?
- You should know how perverted Sogen (aka Evil Jubei) really is, considering Chapter 179 already teased his wicked behavior via his “personal interrogation” plan with Nemumu and now he try to do something bad onto the Fairy Maids too. Remember yhe one ungrateful ingrate who got banished for gettIng touchy with one Fairy Maid? Also, the fool is a mantis who try to stop the wheel.
- Then, comes the equally rotten lord Utamaro himself who, really, embolden Sogen’s rotten behavior. He.cares about his treasures more than anyonr else, heavily implying his own selfishnes too. Given that family were taken part in the Oni God conspiracies, it remain obvious that the old fool is rotten to the core.
I don’t blame Chaos for his obvious disgust about the Surface World’s malpractice s? Unfortunately, as long the Surface World continues with this twisted ways this pecking order, there will be more idiots who are still too proud as the story keep progressing.

In the way, part one of Operation Momotaro where see Chaos’s team raiding Kamijou House’s residence in order to capture Utamaro. Speaking of whom, this old fool still think that he is in-charge One word, Utamaro? Nobody cares who he is anymore because Yotsuha just declared you a criminal for your ancestor’s role in the conspiracies. Not to mention you get your treasuries while escaping?!
And then Sogen here still thinking that about the “pecking order” over Humans. Unfortunately for that Evil Jubei, unlike “Dark“, Chaos is not playing around when facing his opponent and all of his evil intentions onto the fairy maids only earn his disgust. Why? It’s because Gamm and Lebard also said the same thing. Last time, his arrogance caused him to blown away to the mountain forest by accident (though not before Light use paralyze card to numb him), this time he ain’t going anywhere because his next and last opponent is not playing games. Heck, Chaos still able to beat Sogen even without using his signature weapon because the guy is Lvl. 8888! Meaning that he can actually tanking the guy’s attack with no problem.
Now, Chaos/Khaos is 2-1 while Sogen is 0-2. Also, really guys? Trying to capture the fairy maids and using them as “hostages” and then sold them off as slaves? Seems like villains like Sogen is like frog in the well who refuse to acknowledge their flaws, much less about the called “With great power, comes great responsibility”. Make you think that Lilith of all people who has the real strength over these non-Human idiot over there. Since this Lvl. 1500 fool has his evil lust for Nemumu before and then the fairy maids, Evil Jubei will see Oni Daikon Radish get choppy choppy (you all know what this means) before getting to the Abyss for mind probing. You also need to mind probe.
Also, also, ALSO, This will cause a LOADS of drama on Ice-Heat’s part. Her best moment will going to be ruined. Again.
