This is the adaptation of LN’s EX Chapter. It is a bridge between both Oni Kingdom Arc and the Nine Principality Meeting Arc : True Epilogue to the former, true prologue for the latter.
For someone like Miki, she is actually a good artist but anyways. Light at least get some small glance about Hei and I just have a gut feeling that Team Abyss may going to face Hei one of these says but that is for another story….
The real focus should be Team Hiro instead because the aftermath of the failed intrusion mission has now got their attention but if anything, they should see that as a warning instead because they could be very much next, given their role to the Pet Shop Army’s downfall. Not thanks to a certain prince.
If I am Kaizer both Hisomi in this situation, they should worry about themselves instead there are two traitors among them
- Whatever Kaizer’s issue about Team Goh, they ironically going to need them the most because if they either defeat and retreat that can resulting the Demon Kingdom’s downfall, the Dragonewt Empire could be next
- Miki may not know Project P.A. , but she has information about her remaining three Masters and one of them could be the one who told Hiro. Let’s say that informant is his old friend and he wants a piece of P.A. too.
- Somebody has the most dangerous Gift and he is in this room right now. Not even Hei cannot keep protecting his lord forever.
- Dragonewts themselves who want the piece of the P.A. Yes, really.

For those who are not paying attention bevause they are focusing too much on Miki’s activated neuron over Suzu’s cosplay (begrudgingly, Light needs Suzu to get Miki’s coorperation), this brief info about Hei is actually important
If slaying some sea monsters as a means to leveling up for Hei, then neither Daigo nor Oboro had to resort to find shortcuts to do their thing to begin with. The only difference between Daigo and Oboro is the Double Gift Master at least consistent than the lazy Oni.
I have to ask the readers (especially those who complain too much just because of the pace): How much do you actually know about what Hei and Kaizer were doing before all this? Me speculating that Kaizer had been respawned every single time he fail to defeat <C>, of which is part of many Hei’s failures. This one might be Kaizer’s last respawn because there is a chance he will not be revived the next time he is dead and not even Hei’s best effort can save his lord and friend.
If the folks think Miki is bad because of her Master Roshi moments, I have news for ya: She is not even the most evil Masters of them all. You all seen how twisted Daigo was when his obsession of leveling up, so it only make sense to see the remaining trio from Team Goh has the worst egos, and same goes for Team Hiro too because there is one Master who is responsible for the whole plot and he is living among them right now.
