Talk about plot armor. Everything is so convenient. I guess the Author forgot about Hell mode or basically trashed it.

Is that ancient magic so overpowered? It didn’t look like any struggle you would expect against a monster meant for player 150+ lvls higher.

So very convenient that he didn’ use any ancient magic at all against those guys, but can use it flawlessly now. You could say they set up anti-magic beforehand to prevent that, but he used a magic shield in the fight so that isn’t the case.
