children paying their parents debt in S Korea is illegal.
as long as there is a legal case about the debt, the lender can not seek repayment through other means.
this is just lazy writing. No reason for this what so ever. It was going good till that part.

what does he even have to repay? his hospital fees? covered by the company. his families debt? the company is basically paying that by paying for the fees since those fees have already been payed by his family. also the guy telling him he had to repay that stuff looked pretty similar to the guy left from the middle on the global company panel, what right do the people that made him fall into a coma by letting him play their shit game have to make him pay for the hospital fees they’re responsible for? even if he isn’t a member of global company his family is about to sue them and any reasonable judge basically has no choice but to agree with the charges ( I don’t know anything about korean law so correct me if i’m wrong) which would mean that 1: his hospital fees definitely get payed for by the company and 2: they would most likely get a lot of money as compensation.
also no one gonna talk about his family only thinking of suing the company 5 fucking years later? like when they were told they’d have to pay hospital fees for side effects of a product that they could not have known about, they didn’t think for even a second that they should do something like idk suing the company that is responsible for this shit? did it take them 5 years to realize that actually we could sue the company respoonsible for this or <do you want me to believe that there was a reason they couldn't do that until mc was awake again?
also wow nice timing with the nurse coming in the second he wakes up. then there's also the same plothole as in sao: how the hell did they get into the hospital without dying or being disconnected? like did the company just tell them to start playing the game in hospital beds just in case they fell into a coma and did the beta testers just think that there was nothing suspicious about that? it's possible that i misunderstood/ interpreted something, so please correct me if i'm wrong. also sorry if you can't understand it due to my grammar/vocab, english isn't my native language,
