I can already see the obvious plot of all revenge party stories where all the party member are big bad guys.

Couldn’t there be some grey characters for once? In these stories it’s always the duality of good and bad to justify the revenge. I’d love it if in a story MC faces an actual dilemma.
Everyone does good in their own way, I’d like to see MC having his morality challenged.

Like imagine being the person alone on the track of the trolley problem, and you’re sacrificed for the survival of children and women. The person who decided to kill you isn’t a bad guy, but I’d love seeing a revenge story still carrying through the revenge and MC actually becomes an immoral bastard with a constantly challenged morality.
