Why can’t they exercise some critical thinking? They already realized that their original skill level was trash, which begs the question of how they were able to reach S-rank up until this point. The most immediate and obvious answer is that MC has much more powerful buffing and debuffing abilities than they originally realized, but that’s the very same person that they want to go after in their current pathetic state??
