Why did they need to wait until he left to talk about serious matters? What’s going to happen if he’s there? All he would do is quietly listen.
I don’t care for how they treat the MC. They treat him better than the Wolf Pack, but still act like those fake friends that talk behind your back, always keep you out of the loop and never take you seriously.
They know about his trauma with his previous party, and he’s the MVP/reason they’re going. It’s like they’re just using him and being fake friends.
