Can we PLEASE get to the village already? I don’t mind chapters with travelling, but it has been really bland (and LONG). Do you know when rather than enjoying and soaking up a chapter, you just want to get through the one(s) you are reading until something interesting happens? A good time skip is needed.
I imagine that they’ll deal with the Kraken on the way back. The MC will have an array of powerful cursed tools by then and likely be able to kill it. If it comes back up during this journey, his fish butchering knife could come in handy. It’s probably more OP as a weapon than the MC realises.
We did get a visual of him accidentally cutting the ship in half, which could be hinting at its power, and probability of being able to slash the kraken in half. The scythe was powerful enough as it was, but now it’s especially designed to cut sea creatures, so I don’t think that was placed in the story as a coincidence.
However, I do think it’ll be on the way back, using that knife and other cursed items.

If monsters like the kraken are rising due to the return of the demon lord, makes you wonder if equipping the bracelet will allow him to control the kraken. Be good kraken, get some demon snacks at the next port. No spoiling your appetite on seamen.
