If this story followed quality writing I’d assume that this has to be a joke because no way the MC can buff them THAT much. However, this is the usual power fantasy so it can be that powerful of a buff applied to them to bring them so far.

I wonder if the MC reduced all their levels to single digit when he undid the curses… he inreased quite a few levels when he did, so it’s not impossible that all the experience they earned from the day they recruited him to the day they expelled him has been sucked dry.
Also their equipment has become worthless, and the monsters are in their natural state, not nerfed to the ground by storms of curses
