The development is so illogical and unnatural for a manga, not that I’m saying I don’t like this (so don’t downvote u ppl who don’t read what I write).
Most manga, after the government finds out that MC is dangerous, would try to subdue, capture or make MC an enemy. Examples include Kaiju No. 8, and even stuff like Attack on Titan and Jujutsu Kaisen (where they try to control the MC and make them a weapon).
However, this skips that part and goes straight to “Oh, I don’t care how many people you killed, you are a hero,” and doesn’t even try to exploit the MC.
It just feels super weird, even though I usually hate the government for trying to capture the MC in the examples I listed, I think that it is essential for world building and needed for MC to grow.
Tell me what y’all think.
i mean he literally subdued the thing that more than 12k people failed to subdue and only ended up killing 4 people so i think tha was too excessive

When you think about it, mc has kinda taken the place of a nuclear bomb. Immense power, that can wipe out allies just as easily as foes. His classification as a threat beyond a natural disaster kinda just adds to it.
He’s necessary for their survival, but he’s just as likely to enter a bloodthirsty rampage and kill them himself.

Bruh 🤣. I know they’re going through something with what’s happening in their universe. But, I feel like what that S-rank said is being desperate and also a hypocrite in some of the things he told the mc, depending on how you see it

This is so insane, just imagining how Jinsung feels rn.
He was so deeply traumatized by the horrific abuse as a child, and like children tend to do he always blamed himself for all that happened, developing an incredible self-hatred.
Still, he never wanted to kill innocent people and did everything to overcome the absolute murderer inside – and after achieving so much he failed, which is absolutely devastating for him.
And now the government simply sees and wants to use him, who is still a child, as the ultimate weapon, trauma, morals and all his other emotions be damned. Would they even consider that he obviously desperately needs therapy?
Though, going by the “Yokai”-powers that were shown for a sec, it seems there’s much more to his Edeya than what we know so far🤔
