Did he store the gold with the system? Because otherwise he shouldn’t have any gold at this point, since in this simulation he never became secretary. Did he loot it like as an immortal?

The ‘immortals’ in this type of fiction are very greedy and stupid for their age; meditation goes in one ear and out the other for them.
