Not keeping or giving out any tracible gear branded with anything like a crest. Then all departed capital in small groups of five, to not draw suspicion. Rendez’vous’d on the border, then all migrated (off road) to another country. Split up as desired (guilt free) from most / all classmates there.
Not having enough intel after arriving on a new world, in the middle of a war. He probably couldnt read whatever that king was writing. An assassin just cannot kill just by feelings.
