Damn, late again. Curse you basic bodily functions! Joking aside, this was a pretty good chapter. Ping Ping looked radiant, hard to believe she’s gonna have her first kid. I’m glad for her, it’s never too late to find or have a family. It would be kinda cool if her husband was the author’s self-insert, but I suppose that’ll be left to interpretation if they don’t say anything.

Guess the kids finally learned about mama Jiang and Qingze’s prior escapades, feels oddly nostalgic seeing all their old videos and streams being pored through. Good timing on their part to hide the, ah, less savory content on their PC given how resourceful Jin can be, was cute to see her be flustered by Qingze’s teasing alone. And by God I was wheezing during her shoujo interpretation of how her parents met. If only you knew kiddo, the actual story’s almost as fun.

Gotta love the ending too, he may be a trickster and a bit of a fool at times, but Qingze has a genuinely good heart behind his antics. Jiang He would’ve never married him otherwise I suppose, but it’s nice to see it in action once again, makes me think of the woman he saved from drowning way back when. Hell, it could be the reason why he is helping during typhoon season, I imagine it would’ve left quite an impression on him.
