i feel kinda disappointed. i thought i was gonna read a story with a kind and merciful mc. Now its just some kid with anger issues and a revenge plot.

Some things are just necessary evil: there are no laws without crime, and no medicine without poison.
Yada, yada, yada…. What i think is lacking with this story is the fact the ruler is totally oblivious to the going ons within his own realm. He supposed to be scarry strong, but instead…he’s a total puppet wimp. This is a big hole in this story !

With Nano’s simulation mc will have practiced enough to defeat this weirdo by the time he gets out of the academy. Even if this guy didn’t use his full power, with mc being able to 1shot the sim, he should still stand a chance, which, with plot armor, is a guaranteed win. No need to even speak of the poison since we know that’s useless against him.
Technically… if nano is able to scan and identify the old mans DNA… it could create a virus to specifically target and unravel it…
So nomatter the cultivation level, if they aren’t able to alter their own dna… or know/detect nano’s invasion in advance… it could kill him right?
But yah, ideally… no need for killing innocents who only provided the poison… but didn’t actually do the poisoning…
