You would think Kakuzu would be battle ready for this, I mean he avoided going back to the bounty centre as because of the high risk an ambush, and also thinking like this is essential to being an elite shinobi and deception and tricky attcks they should be able to suspect and predict , but then again i bet the naruto ninja world is so big and vast that a shinobi has better chances improving their own jutsus and skills instead of trying to breakdown ever ninjutsu strategy , so it really be up to who has a better jutsu’s or if ninja are against their counter ( I did not take into account other possible scenarios like the battle situation, some ninja maybe more suitable with multiple enemies or surruoned by allies) but a more advanced jutsu does not always mean a gurranted win but can mean one harder to avoid or defeat as it requires higher skills to deal with.
