Unpopular opinion, but I don’t like MC acting like this. I do think he’s looking and acting cool, but he’s getting to evil for my taste. Like saying he’d turn against his school if he thought the dead ruler could actually kill his principal.
He seems to be devoid of loyalty right now, or any other noble emotions.
MC before would happily fight to the death for his friends, MC now would happily turn his friends into puppets

With how the MC is speaking ATM, I was sure he was going to coerce the dude into his legion. I mean, he seems strong, so I’d say it’s worth doing. Either way you slice it, he’s undead. Said empire would attack him on-sight if it still existed. His cause is for naught, and with him being a strong knight, it makes more sense to yield and fight for someone else.
