As soon as splitting up was mentioned, it was obvious what was going to happen.
Mt prediction, is that MC will struggle to defeat the blood mage, to the point that both the priests arrive to join the fight. 3V1 will be more even, and thus the blood mage will bow out of the fight and retreat.
The Sniffer Priest will still not trust MC because of him being a necromancer, but is willing to put it aside for now. Priest girl will think that she had the same thought about MC in terms of working together to save him mother her mentor.
As for the crown of madness, it won’t be used until later
