yeah they’re speeding up the second half of his first year. The novel has too many of these side stories that last half a chapter to a chapter, so I guess the manhwa is trying to condense everything. Overall, the manhwa has been sticking true to the novel, just with more of a summary of the novel which is incredibly in detail to allow for this manhwa to feel natural even with a lot of skipping. There’s lots of school politics and stuff like help, or interacting that is skipped such as getting professor Aaron’s help, but the gist of major events is all the same. Nothing important is getting missed really since the novel is far enough into the future of this story that all the important details, even some minute stuff now such as certain photos or flashbacks are being included. This has been a great re-read of a re-read.
