+ I’m surprised no other mages could sense him setting this giant circle up or something. I mean they have to have at least some mages at the castle defence right? And I doubt they would have to be too talented to sense something mc create considering he is said to be not too talented in magic (like he can make really interesting spell combinations/knows good work arounds, but from what I understand he’s still generally not that good at most stuff outside of black magic)
Also, I’m really confused the orange haired girl is still alive, considering she is so gullible + just speaking in the open about her family having connections to black mages (you can’t tell me at the entrance to an alley in the middle of the day isn’t ‘in the open’)
