He could’ve won but what’s the point in being overcompetitive in a child’s fight, he was clearly playing with his friend, assessing her growth, not in a life or death situation for once. It’s not like there was some crazy reward for achieving first. I’d say it’s amazing he showed everyone a part of his prowess, going against the trope of the usual “Japanese Mc” who for sure would let others trample over him to thoroughly “hide his powers”. He is still not safe enough to be worry free and his enemies underestimating him by looking at his record on a surface level is actually good. Anyway, were the first place reward that great, he would have won nonethelessy. He achieved his main goal which was to be eligible for the exchange program.

How the f*** did he lose?
I think the author had a stroke and forgot how strong the mc he made is. There was no justifiable way the mc lost that fight.
Third teacher we meet in the school and he’s also evil. It’s a wonder the school hasn’t collapsed yet.

Mc holds multiple super weapons all with stealth capability, like a jet, long range artillery, mines and still loses to a nomad wielding sticks and stones.
How inflated are the strengths? How tf did he lose to a side character. No offence but that is very dumb. He can’t even win against a mage how tf is he gonna be strong if he wants to hide his necromancy???
Evil teachers in these things are always drawn like used car salesmen.

Pretty good chapter but isn’t the tournament the 111th and not the 58th spring tournament?
Buuuuuu. You made him uncharacteristically arrogant for this one match so she would win. Bad conclusion
yknow, to be fair. I was abit bummed he lost, but then again, it reminded me how just a tiny mistake could turn the whole game around. still plotarmor though 
MC underwent brain surgery or something before the event
I got oddly frustrated that the mc lost the fight did anyone else feel the same?
The school should review its recruitment policy! How are there so many ‘incompetent’ professors ??
