Despite how cliched this is, the relationships do feel a bit more realistic. Both sides aren’t completely ignorant, and they don’t try to make the other guess about their feelings like a lot of other series try to do. It’s not like she tried to drop everything she had to be with him either, she just expressed herself and went from there. It’s not like they fell right away either, they started as friends and moved up from there. Granted the speed at which it happened is a bit quick but I’d say that’s its biggest weakness. Still I give it points for not making them obsessively interested in the other.
