They basically cheapend her whole redemption arc. She is just a powerful victim that had an army of victim monsters that were just misunderstood. Even the Man Eater, Griphon, and Goblin Necromancer were all misunderstood victims. The only true badguy is the dragon that was doing his job protecting the balance of the world.
So, the master is alive. Overall, she is hurt and upset by the death of her grandfather, but I wonder if the Hero killed the Demon King. Something happened between Point A and Point B, because why did the Hero seal the granddaughter if nothing more than save her life.
the fact their master is alive is interesting, was she even serious about revenge in the first place? i wonder if this is gonna continue, when i saw the gender bender tag i was a little concerned but after reading it im thankful it wasnt to crazy on the “im a man in a girls body” trope, this is definitely gonna be on my watch list though

Okay but seriously tho why does it take longer to load the chapter than it does to read it? I understand that perhaps this is the end of the chapter of manga but like… THIS is the update? Apologies if I’m being a bit too impatient, I understand how difficult this sort of stuff is. I’m actually writing a story and I’ve got the actual story in progress in my head all the time so I know it’s not knowing what is going on that takes a while, it’s the articulation, but still…
We would have waited longer for a larger update, especially this time around.

For those who haven’t read the novel but are kvetching about that guy still being alive, the fake head is a manga gag, but in the novel she didn’t kill the guy. It’s assumed he’s dead considering the demon girl’s overwhelming power and his last stand to let the others escape. She beat the stuffing out of him but let him go later.
