This entire thing is such a bullshit.
Why tf would you even think to try and threaten a being that’s way beyond your country’s strongest (ok, it’s part of the negotiation game, fair enough), and why tf is Nacht still calling it a “negotiation” at that point despite already saying she doesn’t care about it (additionally, she can just get the info from the noble himself since the princess’ knightess said his name). Completely immersion breaking, even if it’s a shounen.
This irrational plot point written just to move the story makes me so furious that I still think about it.
