Things you could/should have done with the powerful buff ring, after being warned that such a flashy item will attract all sorts of thieves:
- Put it back in your storage. It’s easy, it’s convenient, nobody can steal from it.
- Keep it equipped. You are still under the buff, and it makes it harder (maybe even impossible, depending on the mechanic, to steal)
What you don’t do:
- Put it somewhere openly, unsupervised, and unprotected, while being out cold.

I mean it just buffs spells and elemental res, right? Probably would sell for a lot but it didn’t sound that OP. Perhaps it could make up some damage thresholds, however.
