It’s either Modern weaponry are too strong against medieval fantasy world or are completely useless, there are never the interestingness of the in between.
Like gun can’t pierced magic barrier but can still one shot a arch mage in a surprise attacks.
Or we can have our jet missle while they can have their plague magic that can inflict mass death through infectiousness.
