Thankfully the author acknowledges that MC has changed, it’s obvious that he has. I’ll still keep reading to see if they ever get back to the revenge plot.
I’d just wish this took the secretive route, it’s kinda bad that he just say he’s a healer and everyone just believes him. This is just bad writing and plot holes

while very generous it’s a little weird to use all your money on others in this way and then to give away a precious item as well.
yes from a team perspective it makes sense to invest, but he hasn’t invested in himself, even if he doesn’t need items what about accommodation, food etc
maybe he has enough left, it was just unusually generous, for anyone really
I am hoping for the plot twist that the wine seller is a spy, and that they are trying to get a feel for MC. The fact that he dropped 30 million at a high end store should be setting off alarms and red flags.
