let me guess. he (the would-be king) sheltered the beastfolk girl, the people were racist against beastfolk, he still decided to protect/shelter her, shenanigans happen, criminals got what they deserve, cried and played victim, gaslit themselves and are convinced it’s all his fault, therefore kill the king?
